[Summer Internship 2027] Data Platform Intern, Devops

Agoda is seeking a Data Platform Intern, Devops for a summer internship in Bangkok, Thailand, running from 24 May to 30 July 2027. The intern joins one of four data platform teams covering data pipelines, Hadoop data lake operations, data applications, and data experience.

Interns learn Agoda’s systems, complete onboarding, work with a mentor, and take a project through ideation, proof of concept, testing, dashboards, production deployment, debugging, and automation. Applicants should be undergraduate or graduate students in IT, computer science, or a related discipline, proficient in Go or Python, able to work independently and collaboratively, and possess strong English communication skills.

Learn Agoda’s systems through onboarding based on the selected data platform team.

Choose components to work on and develop an internship project with a mentor.

Take a project from ideation and proof of concept through testing and dashboard development.

Make code production-ready, deploy it, debug issues, and automate processes.

Ship real code and work with data at terabyte to petabyte scale.

Be an undergraduate or graduate student in an IT-related or Computer Science discipline or equivalent.

Proficient in at least one of Go or Python.

Have good communication skills, learn quickly, and demonstrate a positive, open attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong English speaking and writing skills.
