Project Management Initiative (PMO) - Business Development and Partnerships

This project-based role sits within Shopee's Business Development team and supports strategic initiatives across regional markets. The position works with local markets and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, conduct data analysis and competitor benchmarking, and develop structured business cases to address business challenges and drive growth, profitability, and efficiency.

The role requires 2-5 years of experience, preferably in management consulting or e-commerce. Candidates should have strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills, along with project management, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can communicate effectively in English with cross-functional stakeholders and management.

Assist in driving strategic initiatives (project-based role) across different markets and achieving business impact in growth, profitability, and efficiency

Work closely with local markets to identify opportunities and gaps, review problem statements, and generate useful solutions on regional strategic initiatives

Support data analysis and competitor benchmarking

Take a hypothesis-driven approach to address business challenges and identify new growth opportunities

Initiate projects with a structured business case

2-5 years of experience working

Previous experience in management consulting or e-commerce industry preferred

Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Strong communication skills in English with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
