Shift Electrical Engineer

The Shift Electrical Engineer is a full-time role based at a client site in Bangkok, Thailand, supporting data centre operations for Cushman & Wakefield. The position leads shift operations, including after-hours support, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility performance.

Key duties include monitoring critical electrical infrastructure such as UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution; leading incident response and escalation; coordinating maintenance, safety procedures, permit-to-work, testing, and commissioning; and managing stakeholder communications, performance monitoring, risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Monitor and manage critical electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems) to maintain maximum availability and resilience

Lead shift operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient data centre performance, including after-hours support

Lead incident response and escalation management, coordinating cross-functional teams to minimize operational impact and restore services

Ensure compliance and coordinate maintenance activities, including safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, testing, and commissioning

Manage stakeholder communications and drive operational excellence through performance monitoring, risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
