AVP, AFC Operations - KYC / Name Screening (Wholesale Banking)

AVP-level role within UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited's Anti-Financial Crime Operations team in Bangkok, supporting Wholesale Banking. The position performs KYC/CDD, name screening against internal and global databases, risk profiling, and Source of Wealth analysis for high-risk clients to help prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

Candidates need 8-10 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, the ability to handle pressure and high volumes, and familiarity with various business entity types such as limited, private and public companies, holding companies, hedge funds, asset managers and foundations.

Perform KYC/CDD including customer identification, verification, risk assessment and transaction monitoring

Analyze client data, documentation and negative news to determine Client Risk Profile

Conduct name screening of customers and related parties against bank and global databases

Perform Source of Wealth analysis on high-risk clients to verify legitimate origin of assets

Communicate with officers and internal teams to maintain internal control standards

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Effective communication skills to ensure AML and regulatory compliance

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience

Ability to deal with pressure and high volume of requests

Knowledge of various business entities such as limited, private and public companies, holding companies, hedge funds, asset managers and foundations
