FM Engineer

CBRE is hiring a Facilities Engineer to join its Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team in Bangkok. The role provides design and engineering support for power, energy, and infrastructure projects, and is responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key duties include preparing electrical designs and calculations, performing power system studies, developing feasibility studies and technical reports, designing facility electrical systems, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 3-5 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or building systems.

Prepare electrical designs and calculations for industrial, manufacturing, water, energy, and infrastructure projects.

Develop feasibility studies, technical reports, cost estimates, and detailed engineering drawings.

Perform power system studies, including grounding, lightning protection, short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis.

Design facility electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.

Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

3-5 years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, building systems, engineering, or related areas.

Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on multiple sources of information.

Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to existing processes and solutions.
