Associate I - Advisory -Client & Customer Services

Marsh is hiring an Associate I - Advisory for its Bangkok team within the Client & Customer Services practice. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the Bangkok office.

The Associate acts as the lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business, managing day-to-day client relationships, developing renewal and placement strategies with the Placement team and Advisory Leader, analyzing carrier quotes, supporting RFP responses, and following up with underwriters on coverage changes. Candidates need a relevant degree and 6-10 years of experience in insurance advisory or broking, solid technical knowledge of insurance products, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven relationship-building ability.

Act as the lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business, managing day-to-day client relationships and delivery.

Develop renewal and placement strategies with the Placement team, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive, and execute them per client instructions.

Analyze carrier quotes and prepare clear, actionable analysis for senior Advisory colleagues and clients.

Support senior Advisory colleagues in achieving business goals and responding to RFPs through research and document preparation.

Manage follow-up with underwriters on coverage changes and build/maintain market and client contacts.

Relevant degree (e.g., Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Business) or equivalent practical experience.

6-10 years' experience in insurance advisory, broking, or a related risk/placement function, including renewals and placements.

Solid technical knowledge of insurance products and coverages; ability to read and interpret wordings, endorsements, and policy terms.

Strong analytical skills to review and compare carrier quotes and produce concise recommendations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to build relationships with clients and market contacts.
