Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst at Minor Vacations (the vacation ownership arm of Minor Hotels) is based at the Avani Office in Bangkok. The role evaluates the company's financial situation, supports project budget control, prepares marketing and sales analysis, and handles complex commission and incentive calculations for specific roles, reporting to management.

Key duties include extracting and analyzing financial data, working with departments to gather supporting data, building spreadsheets and charts, analyzing marketing expense impact by channel, assisting with project cost controls, supporting HR with commission/incentive calculations, preparing investment proposals and sensitivity analysis for M&A projects, and performing ad hoc analysis for the Finance Director. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, at least one year of data analysis and financial planning experience, strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency in English and Thai.

Support Finance Manager to extract and analyze financial data from various sources and ensure overall accuracy of reporting analytics and database management

Works closely with various departments to collect data that will support analysis

Assemble spreadsheets, and draw charts and graphs to illustrate financial information for management

Provide analysis on impact of company's marketing expenses of each marketing channel for management consideration and future planning

Assist with project cost controls and prepare cost report for management

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or any related fields

At least one year experience in data analysis and financial planning

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial calculations

Strong analytical skills (ability to read, interpret and communicate detailed quantitative data)

Proficiency in English and Thai
