Service Operations Engineer

NXP is hiring a Service Operations Engineer based in Bangkok, Thailand on a full-time basis. The role involves managing daily application operations, maintaining monitoring and alerting, supporting automation and deployment pipelines, handling certificates and user access, performing root cause analysis, tracking KPIs, documenting processes, and helping implement AI to improve efficiency. The position works with international colleagues across departments and cultures.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Required skills include excellent English communication, shell scripting, familiarity with databases such as MS-SQL, MySQL, or SQLite, and experience with collaboration tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira, and MS Office. A quality mindset, security awareness, and strong analytical and teamwork abilities are also expected.

Manage general application related tasks and daily operation; maintain usability of applications including SW updates and issue resolution

Maintain and improve testing, monitoring, alerting, cleanup, and logging of application components

Support automation of processes, service deliveries, and deployment pipelines

Request and manage certificates; arrange and manage user access to relevant applications

Support issue handling through data and system analysis to find root causes; measure process performance via KPIs and document processes

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

0-2 years of experience in any related field

Excellent English communication skills

Experience reading and writing scripts, e.g. shell scripting

Database skills such as MS-SQL, MySQL, or SQLite are an advantage; experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira, and MS Office
